Dortmund's boss has spoken about his team's need to improve ahead of their second leg clash against Premier League leaders Man City in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, with the hosts starting the match looking to overcome a 1-2 deficit sustained at the Etihad.

In the reverse fixture, it was City who opened the scoring through Kevin De Bruyne in the 19th minute. Marco Reus then equalised for Dortmund in the 84th minute, his goal putting an end to Ederson's CL record of not conceding in seven previous games. Unfortunately for Terzic's men, English starlet Phil Foden grabbed the winner for the 'Sky Blues' in the 90th minute, giving his side a slim advantage before Wednesday night's match in Germany.

City will be reminded of previous CL campaigns where they crashed out in ties in which they were originally favourites, and this will serve as motivation for Terzic and co. Nevertheless, star midfielder Ilkay Gundogan believes this current side are different and that they have what it takes to go all the way.
