VIDEO: Vasco and Bahia draw a blank

Vasco da Gama hosted Bahia in a Brasileirao clash on Sunday night.

The first half was goaless at Sao Januario and then in the 80th minute, Vasco were reduced to 10 men after Leandro Castan was sent off. He caught goalkeeper Douglas in the face with his boot and Catatau tapped in the loose ball. A VAR review saw the goal disallowed and Castan dismissed. Bahia were unable to make use of their numerical advantage and the fixture ended 0-0. Both teams created few chances and seemed to be more interested in not losing the game rather than winning it.
