VIDEO: Tyrick Mitchell signs new Crystal Palace contract

Crystal Palace have recently announced that promising young full-back Tyrick Mitchell has commited to a new long-term contract with the club, keeping him at Selhurst Park until 2025.

Mitchell's previous contract was due to run out this season, but after a promising start to the 2020/21 campaign - where the Englishman has featured regularly under Roy Hodgson - Palace owners were desperate to get him signed on long-term.

The full-back has already featured 18 times in Palace's 31 games this season, improving on just four appearances the previous campaign. With this new contract, Hodgson will be hoping to count on Mitchell for a few more years, or at least be able to cash in on him should a big team come calling.
