Thorgan Hazard scored for Gladbach, but they lost to Barca 1-2. DUGOUT

In September 2016, Thorgan Hazard finished off this superb counter-attack to put Borussia Mönchengladbach ahead against Barcelona.

The Champions League resumes this midweek and we are taking you back to the Champions League clash between Monchengladbach and Barcelona in 2016.

Thorgan Hazard put the home side ahead after 34 minutes when Gladbach countered and he hit the ball past keeper Marc Andre Ter-Stegen from just outside the six yard box. Arda Turan levelled for the visitors in the 65th minute and Gerrard Pique gave Barca victory seven minutes from time when he scored on the rebound after a shot from a corner was saved. Gladbach and Barcelona are in different groups this season, but the Germans will play Real Madrid.
