Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel reflects on his side's crucial victory against Leicester on Tuesday, and also speaks about having fans back in the stadium - check out what he had to say here!
It certainly was a night to remember for the 8,000 that were able to travel to Stamford Bridge, as Tuesday's match had a bit of everything. Timo Werner had two goals get ruled out, one by the offside flag and the other by VAR for handball. After a half dominated by the home side but with little to show for it, goals from Rudiger and a Jorginho penalty put Chelsea two up after 66 minutes. A defensive mistake let Leicester back into it through Iheanacho's goal 13 minutes from time, but Chelsea eventually held on to all three points despite an on-pitch brawl in the closing stages.
In a game that was both exciting as it was important, Chelsea leapfrog Leicester into third and will all but secure Champions League qualification if Liverpool fail to beat Burnley this evening. If not, their fate crucially remains in their own hands, as a win against Villa on the final day of the season will ensure Chelsea are playing Champions League football again next campaign.
