Al Nassr survived the absence of Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo, who served the first of a two-match suspension after elbowing an opponent, to beat Al Fayha 3-1 on Friday with a brace from Senegal's Sadio Mane.
At 40 years of age, Al Fayha goalkeeper Stojkovic showed that his reflexes are still intact with more than creditable saves from Sadio Mane and Aymeric Laporte. Al Nassr were unable to beat the Balkan goalkeeper even from the penalty spot, and with three minutes to go before half-time, Mane sent a spot-kick over the bar.
However, the former Liverpool man redeemed himself after Abdulelah Al Amri cancelled out the visitors' opener by scoring twice after 76 and 82 minutes to confirm the home side in second place in the Saudi League.
