Ryan Shawcross got a rare goal for Stoke in the encounter with Wolves. DUGOUT

Ryan Shawcross ended a 16-month goal drought when he found the net for Stoke City against Wolves in April 2011. It was the second goal in a 3-0 home win for the Potters.

Back in April 2011, Stoke hosted Wolves at the Britannia Stadium in a must win game for the away side.

Kenwyne Jones gave the hosts the lead inside 16 minutes and then Ryan Shawcross made it two just before half-time with his first goal in 16 months. Jermaine Pennant added a third in the second half to leave Wolves in major relegation trouble. Have a look at Shawcross' goal in the video below.
