Rosario met Gimnasia y Esgrima in matchday 5 of Liga Argentina.

The away side continued their excellent start to the season and remain undefeated after five league games this season. Young Paraguayan Ramon Sosa broke the deadlock for the visitors in the 79th minute, after an assist from Brahian Aleman, securing all three points for his team and netting the only goal of the game.

Gimnasia y Esgrima continued their brilliant start to the season and sit in first place, whereas Rosario Central will be looking to improve and build on their lackluster start to the campaign which sees them placed in 24th.
