VIDEO: Roger Martínez’s goal v Santos Laguna

Club America took on Santos Laguna in a friendly match in Sandy, Utah on Sunday.

The pre-season fixture took place on Independence Day in the USA and America took an early lead in the 11th minute thanks to a goal by Roger Martinez. Santos Laguna were reduced to 10 men 16 minutes later when Ronaldo Prieto was sent off for a second bookable offence. Santos Laguna tried to get an equaliser to get back into the game, but they were unable to breach the Club America defence. Take a look at Martinez's goal from the match in the video above!

Club America's first match is on 22nd July away to Queretaro while Santos Laguna visit Necaxa the following day.
