VIDEO: Roberto Soldado’s great goal for Granada v his old club

Granada and Valencia faced each other in the Copa del Rey quarter-finals back in February. 

Roberto Soldado gave the home side the lead at Los Carmenes in the third minute with a brilliant goal after a 30 yard run, but Rodrigo Moreno levelled for Valencia five minutes before half-time. As extra-time was looming, Granada were awarded a VAR penalty for handball in the 94th minute and Soldado made no mistake to send Granada through to the semi-finals. They were then beaten in the semi-finals by Athletic Bilbao. Check out Soldado's first goal in the video above!

It was a brilliant season for the Andalusian outfit as they finished 7th in La Liga and made the Europa League for the first time in their history.
