Real Madrid faced Valencia in the 1969-70 Copa del Rey final at the Camp Nou on 28th June 1970.
The tournament was called Copa del Generalisimo at that time, as it was under Spanish dictator Francisco Franco. Real Madrid took the lead in the 34th minute after the referee pointed to the penalty spot and Pirri scored. Four minutes later, Valencia were given a spot kick of their own and Vicente Jara levelled. Substitute Juan Planelles put Madrid back in front on the hour mark and Sebastian Fleitas sealed the trophy five minutes later.
Real Madrid's victory in front of 80,000 people was Real Madrid's 11th Copa del Rey trophy. Take a look at the highlights of the action in the video above!
