Pepe continues to make history at Porto. The 39-year-old centre-back is an important player and still has another season to go, which means he will turn 40 at the Portuguese club.

But the defender does not see the end of his career, which began at Marítimo and continued at Porto in 2004 for three years until he signed for Real Madrid. In that time, Pepe helped win two consecutive league titles and a cup.

After ten years at Real Madrid, the Portuguese returned to his former home in 2019 to prove he still has plenty of football in his boots to help a Porto side with whom he is contracted until 2023.
