In the 2020/21 campaign, the striker played 38 times for the Yorkshire side, in which he scored an impressive 17 goals and provided 7 assists. He was on target in Leeds' last match of the season, which saw them defeat already relegated West Brom 3-1 at Elland Road.

With this along with other stand-out performances - none more so than manager Marcelo Bielsa - Leeds secured a staggering ninth-placed finish in their first season back in England's top flight after a lengthy absence.
