Bayern welcomed RB Salzburg to the Allianz Arena on Tuesday night for the second leg of their Champions League last 16 tie. The Bavarians thumped the Austrians 7-1.
Lewandowski was yet again the star of the show as he scored the fastest hat-trick in Champions League history. He achieved this by scoring two penalties and a goal from open play in just eleven minutes. His goals were the first three of the game. After this, Serge Gnabry and Thomas Muller added to the tally before Salzburg finally had something to shout about as Kjaergaard netted for them. However, there was still time for the German giants to score a couple more. Muller completed his brace and Sane finished off to make it seven.
Bayern were almost as good in defense as they were in attack throughout the game. Have a listen to what Nagelsmann had to say about it in the video here!
