Nagelsmann does not believe Lewandowski wants to leave Bayern. This came to light in the wake of a report from 'Sky Sport', to which the coach was respectful in his last press conference, but with a completely opposite stance. From his striker's body language in training and his daily attitude, he understands that he wants to continue.
"That transfer rumour doesn't bother me at al, I'll be honest. I think that's part of the football business. If I wasn't a coach at Bayern now, but at another big club, I would always be shouting that name somewhere and hope that something will happen at some point. It's because he scores a lot of goals and is the most dangerous striker on the market. So I think it's quite normal what is being said. The only thing that matters to me is how the player reacts and 'Lewy' is in top form," he said.
"Lewandowski talks a lot with me and the players in training. He is not like a satellite who isolates himself and waits for the time to go. He feels good, as he also showed in his performance against Borussia (in the Super Cup). He even does it in the training sessions. A player who wanted to leave wouldn't behave like that," he added.
"It's part of life that they (market information) exist. Live and let live, journalists and footballers alike. When the player is in a good mood, and he is in a good mood in this case, we are all happy. I don't sleep so badly because of the situation of the rest. They are similar to 'Lewy'. Goretzka and Kimmich? I don't talk to them about it every day, but I think things are going well for both of them," he said.
