Martin Ødegaard shocked world football when he signed for Real Madrid aged just 16 in 2014. However, he made just one appearance for the first team that season and struggled for game time before being loaned out to Heerenveen in 2016. 

He impressed for them, playing 43 games over the course of two seasons, and moved on to Vitesse a year later where he was superb, scoring 11 goals and coming up with 12 assists in just 39 games.

Those performances earnt him a step-up to La Liga, where he joined Real Sociedad on loan last season and showed his skills off yet again, scoring 7 goals and getting 9 assists.

This year, he's made the step up to the first team, already playing three times for Real Madrid.
