Inter Milan faced Bayer Leverkusen in a Europa League quarter-final last Monday in Dusseldorf.
Nicolo Barella made it 1-0 to Inter after 15 minutes before Romelu Lukuku got on the scoresheet six minutes later. Kai Havertz pulled one back for the Germans in the 24th minute and then Inter were awarded a spot-kick, but Lukaku did not get to take it as the ball hit the top of the defender's arm and the decision was reversed after a VAR review. Inter then had a second penalty taken away later on in the match after an attacking handball in the build up, but the Italians still won.
