The Brazilian came through the ranks at Flamengo before moving to Monaco back in 2016. After an appearance for the club's second team, he then made five for their first team. He then enjoyed his most successful spell in 2017/18, with two goals and two assists in 32 matches across all competitions.

Jorge then enjoyed spells in Portugal with Porto as well as his home country Brazil with Santos. His most recent appearance came for Basel seven months ago, as they lost 0-2 to BSC Young Boys.
