VIDEO: Jordan Ayew’s late strike downs Aston Villa

Crystal Palace travelled to Villa Park to face Aston Villa in the Premier League on Boxing Day. 

The Eagles were well beaten 3-0 thanks to Bertrand Traore, Kortney Hause and Anwar El Ghazi. The victory came despite Tyrone Mings getting sent off just before half-time when Villa were only 1-0 up. 

Palace have done better on other occasions though. They beat Villa 1-0 back on 31st August 2019 thanks to a Jordan Ayew goal 17 minutes from time. Trezeguet had been sent off for Villa earlier in the second half and Crystal Palace made use of the extra man. Take a look at Ayew's goal from that game in the video above!
