Brighton lost their Premier League Summer Series match against Chelsea despite being a man down for half an hour after Van Hecke was sent off for a double yellow card.

In addition, Joao Pedro and Undav close the gap in the final minutes, leaving the Seagulls close to tying the game. In the case of the new signing, he scored his first goal for De Zerbi's team.

Nicolas Jackson ran through on goal and curled home expertly to make it 4-1, before Brighton's new man Joao Pedro was brought down by Levi Colwill for a penalty. 

The former Watford player made no mistake from the spot, slotting it into the bottom right corner, beyond the reach of Kepa who had dived the right way.
