Italy faced Belgium in a Euro 2020 quarter-final on Friday.
The Italians thought they had taken the lead in the 13th minute through Bonucci, but the VAR ruled it out because of offside. In the 31st minute, Nicolo Barella put the Italians ahead at the Allianz Arena in Munich and then Lorenzo Insigne made it two just before the interval with a sensational curling strike from just outside the area. Romelu Lukaku's controversial penalty just before the break got Belgium back into it, but despite having opportunities in the second period, they were unable to find an equaliser.
Italy now play Spain in the semi-final, but the win was overshadowed by Leonardo Spinazzola's serious looking injury. Italy coach Roberto Mancini spoke after the game and said the whole team felt really sorry for him. Have a listen to his comments in the video above!
