Derby emerged a different side after the break, however. Bennett equalised on 53 minutes, before Wilson's fine strike but Lampard's men in front just two minutes later. Marriott rounded off the comeback after 73 mins, securing Derby all three points.

This season, both sides find themselves at the wrong end of the table. Birmingham sit in 19th, whilst Derby face a potential relegation scrap in 21st, just four points clear of Rotherham in the relegation zone in 22nd.
