Vazquez then equalised for the hosts just six minutes into the second half, and the match looked destined for a draw. However, Espinoza struck a dramatic 95th minute winner to snatch all three points at the death, giving her side the advantage going into the second leg.

The two sides meet again on Tuesday, with Chivas having it all to do to overcome the deficit from the first leg.
