VIDEO: Gaston Ramirez, Sampdoria's free-kick specialist

Gaston Ramirez moved to Sampdoria from Middlesbrough in summer 2017 and he has been a regular for the Italian outfit since then. 

He has made 69 appearances for the club from Genoa, the last of those coming in a 1-5 loss to Fiorentina back on 16th February. The 29 year-old Uruguayan has scored 14 goals and given 14 assists while he has been at Sampdoria and some of those have been from free-kicks. When Serie A was halted due to the coronavirus, Sampdoria were in 16th on 26 points, one point above the bottom three with a game in hand.
