Sampdoria travelled to Cagliari at the weekend and lost the match 2-0 at the Sardegna Arena.
Sampdoria were reduced to 10 men after 40 minutes and Cagliari then scored two second half goals. One was a penalty by Joao Pedro and the other was scored by Nahitan Nandez.
Back in December 2017, Sampdoria got a more positive result. Fabio Quagliarella put the visitors ahead after 11 minutes and then made it 0-2 after 19 minutes after being played in by Gaston Ramirez. Cagliari fought back though as Diego Farias and Leonardo Pavoletti scored in the space of four minutes just before the hour mark to get a 2-2 draw. Check out Quagliarella's second goal above!
