Gabriel Paulista has recently spoken out in solidarity with Valencia teammate Mouctar Diakhaby, who alleged Cadiz defender Juan Cala of a racist remark during their game with Cádiz on Sunday, causing the game to be temporarily postponed.
The Cádiz centre-back has since denied such allegations, and has accused Valencia players of a 'witch-hunt' against him. The issue is still being investigated by Spanish officials.
Sunday's clash saw Cádiz eventually grab all three points after the stoppage, with an 88th minute winner from Marcos Mauro making it 2-1 to the hosts. Valencia will be hoping to bounce back against Real Sociedad on Sunday, whilst Cádiz travel to Getafe on Saturday.
