Chelsea hosted Bayern Munich at Stamford Bridge in a Champions League quarter-final first leg back in April 2005.
Chelsea took the lead after four minutes through Joe Cole. Bastian Schweinsteiger levelled the scores seven minutes into the second half. Frank Lampard then netted a double in the space of 10 minutes. Didier Drogba put Chelsea 4-1 ahead nine minutes from the end of the game, but a 93rd minute penalty scored by Ballack gave the Germans hope going into the second leg.
Bayern won the second match 3-2, but lost 6-5 on aggregate. One of Lampard's goals in the first game came after a lovely chest control and volley. Check it out in the video above!
