VIDEO: Ferrán Torres’ brace gives Spain U19 Euro championship

Exactly one year ago, the final of the Under-19 European Championships took place in Armenia.

The eight team tournament saw them divided into two groups of four with the top two from each progressing to the semi-finals. Spain and Portugal made the final at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium in Yerevan, Armenia. Ferran Torres put Spain ahead in the 34th minute and then the Valencia found the target again six minutes into the second half to give Spain a 2-0 win and the trophy. Ferran Torres' Valencia contract expires this summer and the player has refused to renew it. He is set to leave 'Los Che' and they are rumours suggesting his is close to signing for Man City.
