During the UEFA Champions League Quarter-Finals in the 2014-15 season, Javier Hernández scored a late goal in the second-leg against Atlético de Madrid to give Real Madrid the definitive advantage.

Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid met in the quarter-finals of the 2014-15 Champions League. It was 0-0 at the Vicente Calderon in the first leg.

In the return, it looked set for extra time until Chicharito popped up in the 88th minute to defeat 10 man Atletico.
