Simon Kjaer joined AC Milan from Sevilla in 2020 for a reported fee of 3.5 million euros. The player has since extended his original deal until 2024.
Kjaer is famed for acting quickly during Denmark's match in the 2020 Euros when his fellow countryman Christian Eriksen collapsed. It was reported that he saved Eriksen's life with his actions. Since playing for AC Milan, the centreback has appeared in 72 matches. He scored one goal for the Italian club and made two assists.
