Former Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin is in his second spell with Real Betis after leaving Barcelona last season. The 28-year-old returned to the Andalusian club after falling in love with the club's philosophy.
"My personal history with Betis started years ago with my grandma. My grandma, rest in peace, was a massive Betis fan. I would say even more than my dad," he told reporters at the pre-match press conference ahead of the Conference League match against Dinamo Zagreb.
"And every Christmas, I used to get Betis presents, all things that were green and white, even if they didn't have a badge, my grandma would convince me that they were a Betis thing.
"And my dad always watched Betis games at home. I've grown with it and I always dreamt of, at least once in a lifetime, to play for this club and that opportunity came earlier than I expected in my career through a mix of circumstances and since the moment I arrived here, I knew that I wanted this to be my home for the long term," he claimed.
