VIDEO: 'Barça's appointment of Xavi was a masterstroke'

Steven Gerrard has praised the Barcelona board's decision to sign Xavi as their head coach. He was outspoken during his post match interview after playing in a Liverpool legends v Barcelona legends match on Saturday.

In the match, the Barcelona legends came from behind to defeat the hosts. Gerrard of course saw himself on the scoresheet after netting a cooly taken penalty early in the first half. However, the Liverpool legends could not hold onto the lead as Giovanni levelled and a Rivaldo goal completed the comeback. 

After the game, the Aston Villa manager faced the cameras and said that Barcelona’s appointment of Xavi Hernández was a masterstroke. Take a look at the interview in the video here!
