Atletico Madrid achieved the biggest away win in their club history as they beat Rayo Vallecano 7-0.

Atletico Madrid marked a historic victory as they put seven past local rivals Rayo Vallecano without response.

Antoine Griezmann opened the scoring in the 2nd minute and Memphis Depay doubled the lead less than 15 minutes later. 10 minutes from the break, Nahuel Molina slid home the third to put the game to bed before half-time.

Alvaro Morata was subbed on for the second half and bagged himself a brace with returning striker Angel Correa and Marcos Llorente completing the show.

Despite coach Diego Simeone including out-of-favour Joao Felix in the matchday squad once again, the Portguese striker did not take to the field, as his future remains uncertain - with Liverpool reported to be the latest club to consider the 23-year-old this summer.
