Since arriving at Betis in the Summer, Victor Ruiz is yet to make a start. That could all change against Athletic Bilbao with holes appearing in the Real Betis defence.

He made his debut off the bench against Atletico at the end of October and has since made eight appearances. He could now make his first start.

Real Betis will visit the san Mamés with Aissa Mandi suspended after the game against Barcelona last time out. He has become the third centre-back under Manuel Pellegrini.

And now, on the 23rd November, Betis travel to the San Mamés. He could make his first league start since April 2019.
