Leicester City were fighting for a Champions League. They were looking to get back into a Champions League spot on the final day of the Premier League season.
However, a win against Tottenham might not be enough as they need one of Chelsea or Liverpool to slip up. However, they first had to beat Spurs. Jamie Vardy scored in the 18th minute.
The striker won a penalty after a foul by Alderweireld. The Belgian tripped him up, the referee did not give it, but the VAR buzzed in.
Vardy took responsibility despite struggling for goals recently. He had only scored twice since the turn of the year. He made no mistake as he beat Lloris from the spot.
Harry Kane levelled for Spurs before the break, but another penalty in the second half saw Leicester go back in front.
