Eight minutes and just one touch of the ball. That was how Leicester City took the lead against Norwich on matchday three of the Premier League season. The Foxes took the lead thanks to a great strike by Jamie Vardy.
The Norwich defending was very poor once again and the newly promoted side have conceded nine goals in two and a bit games.
Ricardo Pereira dispossessed an opponent and then ran with the ball towards the byline. He did not need to look in the box as he knew Vardy would be there.
Vardy took a step back and received the ball near the penalty spot. With his right foot, Vardy hit it first time into the far corner to make it 0-1.
Then, just before the interval, Soyuncu was penalised for a foul in the box by VAR and Teemu Pukki converted to give Norwich their first goal of the season.
