VAR took away Real Madrid penalty to give Sevilla penalty!!

It was a thrilling end to the Real Madrid v Sevilla game. After Asensio had made it 1-1, Real Madrid went all out for the win to keep the title race in their own hands. 

Sevilla went 1-2 up towards the end of the game after a controversial decision. Sevilla claimed a penalty for handball by Militao and on the counter, Bono brought down Benzema. 

The foul by the Sevilla keeper was clear and the referee pointed to the spot. Sevilla wanted a spot kick at the other end and the VAR, Jose Luis Gonzalez Gonzalez, called Juan Martinez Munuera over to the monitor. 

The referee then gave handball against Militao from the corner and Ivan Rakitic sent Courtois the wrong way from the spot.

In the 94th minute, Madrid salvaged a point after Eden Hazard, who had been the villain in midweek after laughing with Chelsea players, inadvertently turned a wayward Toni Kroos effort from distance into the goal. It was a result which was no good for either side.
