"Physically we are doing well," Valverde said, speaking to the press ahead of Barcelona's Champions League second leg against Roma. "Busquets has a problem, but the rest are available."
Focusing on Busquets, Valverde didn't rule out starting the midfielder. "Busquets has some pain, we will assess him after training, but it's an important game," he stated.
It's worth noting that the Spaniard started the first leg of the tie at the Camp Nou, but was forced to come off after the problem in his foot returned.
Despite the midfielder being rested against Leganes, and despite the fact that starting him against Roma may jeapordise his recovery in the long term, Busquets is a big player for Barca, and it's possible that Valverde will risk it.
"We arrive with the fatigue of many games, but Roma are the same. When you get to this level, a lot is in the head."
