Valverde encouraged Reinildo: "Wish you a speedy recovery, you'll come back stronger"

After knowing about Reinildo's injury, Federico Valverde, who was involved in the play with the Mozambique player, sent him a message on his Twitter account after the 1-1 draw between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.

The 'Colchoneros' full-back, in a play with the Uruguayan, felt a strong pain in his right leg and had to be stretchered out of the Santiago Bernabeu.

After the match, Valverde, aware of the situation, sent a message of encouragement to Reinildo. "I wish you a speedy recovery. In these situations, there are no colours. You will come back stronger," he said.

An official statement said the defender has ruptured the cruciate ligament in his right knee, meaning the Mozambican, who will miss the remainder of the season, will have to undergo surgery.
