Jesús Vallejo, one of the players that has been spoken most about in the present window, now has a new team. After his spell at Wolves, the Real Madrid CB returns to La Liga to play on loan at Granada until the end of the season.
It was an open secret that he would end up signing for Granada. His arrival in the Andalusian city was the strongest option in recent weeks, but his German suitors were also waiting in the wings for his services.
In the end, Vallejo's signing was confirmed on Friday but the team owned by John Jiang Lizhang, who through their official Twitter account informed that he was now training with his teammates in Barcelona and will be presented on Monday.
Without too many opportunities at Wolves, the CB formed in the Real Zaragoza youth system managed to get Real Madrid to see Granada as a feasible destination for him to continue accumulating minutes at the age of 23.
Injuries have been constant in the Granada defence this season. Quini was the latest player to get injured and the club see Vallejo as a player that will generate a lot of competition with Germán Sánchez and Domingos Duarte. Granada now have one of their winter targets.
