Thierry Henry's stint on the TV - as a 'Sky Sports' pundit - is thought to be coming to an end. After managing CF Montreal, Monaco and being Roberto Martinez' assistant at Belgium, the French coach could go back to another project as the boss.
According to 'Mundo Deportivo', the North American Federation have got in touch with the Frenchman for him to become the next United States manager, after Gregg Belhalter's contract ended and he didn't renew it.
"I know the players, I know the MLS, and of course I'd like to be a manager at any level", the coach said when speaking to 'CBS Sport'. If this happens, he would lead a national side ahead of the next 2026 World Cup. Said tournament takes place in Mexico, Canada and the USA.
"What's the future plan of the national side? What's the philosophy? What do they want to be? When you ask yourself these questions, you're going to end up finding answers. Not because you're going to organise the competition but because you're automatically going to go far, like we've seen with some other big sides", he said.
