United's 'three amigos' of which only De Gea remains: "You have left me alone"

There was a time when David de Gea, Juan Mata and Ander Herrera shared a dressing room and confidences at Manchester United. That time has passed and even more after the Red devils confirmed that the former Valencia player will not remain in their squad for next season. This triggered a curious interaction between the three on social networks that went viral.

First, Herrera wrote publicly to Mata to say: "You told me I would never regret signing for United and you were right. We spent five incredible years together and now you're leaving as a legend. We're still representing the 'three amigos' with De Gea! I love you both." He accompanied this text with pictures with them.

The goalkeeper quoted this message and replied: "You have left me alone". He put next to it an emoticon of a broken heart and it did not take long to go viral on the internet, where there were dozens of responses with gestures of affection from fans, delighted that three players who get along so well with each other are so affectionate.

De Gea's future at Manchester United is also assured in principle. With a contract until 2023, he has at least another season left in the team that will be coached by Erik ten Hag next season. There was some controversy after his arrival because he may not have liked the goalkeeping profile of the former 'Colchonero', but this seems to have been left behind.
