United interested in Dier

The English midfielder played an important role as Spurs reached the Champions League final this past season, and he is now reportedly on Manchester United's agenda.

According to 'The Times',  United are looking for a holding midfielder. The England international, whose contract is up in 2021, is now a candidate for this role.

The exit of Ander Herrera and a likely departure for Nemanja Matic will leave the Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side' light on men in midfield. However, the 'Red Devils' don't want to splash out a large sum on an new midfielder.

It is for that reason that they have targeted Dier, who could become their second signing of the summer after Daniel James.
