United intend to keep Ighalo

Ighalo has gone from being one of the most random signings of the transfer market to being one step from staying. The player arrived urgently is now giving a remarkable level at the team. That's why Manchester United, according to the 'Daily Mail', want to sign him.

The first step that they want to take is offering a contract that satisfies him. The most likely thing is that it has quite a higher wage than what he is currently on. He himself confessed in an interview that he would lower his salary to play for Red Devils. 

The next step would be reaching an agreement with Shenhua, who currently own the player. He arrived in the Premier League on loan and his contract at the Chinese club runs out in 2021. The United will have to thus negotiate.

Another option is waiting for his contract at the Chinese club to end so that he signs for free. It wouldn't be the ideal one, as he would either have to be let go to play one more campaign with SH Shengua or get him on loan again.
