United have not taken their eyes off Cillessen

The fact he has been in Ter Stegen's shadow had not prevented Cillessen from having various European clubs interested in him. The Dutchman will leave Barcelona at the end of the season and United  are awaiting the latest developments. 

The possible departure of David de Gea, who is being linked with PSG, would force the English club to act quickly in a market which does not have many reasonably priced goalkeepers. Keylor Navas, for example, would be an option. 

But 'Daily Record' assures that Cillessen is one of United's preferred options providing De Gea leaves the club. At the moment, the only offer which Barcelona received came from Benfica. 

And it was rejected. The 12 million euros offered by the Portuguese club were not enough for the Camp Nou side. They want to try and get as much money as possible from a Cillessen who will say farewell after the Copa del Rey final.
