UEFA announce Champions League team of the week

After another round of fixtures in the Champions League group stages, UEFA announced their fantasy team of the week, and there was no room for Lionel Messi.

The Argentine rather unsurprisingly is left out of the fantasy team of the week after coming on as a substitute at the Juventus Stadium as both teams held on to a 0-0 draw. Ter Stegen is the chosen keeper thanks to a fine save in the dying minutes to deny Dybala.

There were plenty of goals in PSG and Real Madrid's matches, and Neymar and Ronaldo make the cut after netting braces in their respective fixtures. Firmino also scored a double and is part of the front three.

Hazard and Willian thrashed Qarabag while Tolisso scored for Bayern to down Anderlecht. Basel's Michael Lang is also included after his 89th minute strike to shock Manchester United.
