Udinese striker Beto on Everton's radar

Everton are not going through a good moment in the Premier League. The Goodison Park outfit find themselves at the bottom of the table and, if they do not improve, they could be relegated.

However, beyond this situation, the board have begun work on putting together the squad for next season and in the last few hours they have set their sights on a striker who plays in Serie A.

According to reports in the 'Liverpool Echo', the Toffees are keen to sign Beto, the 25-year-old Portuguese striker who plays for Udinese.

The Portuguese striker was one of the surprise packages in Italian football this season. In 24 games played, he scored seven goals and provided two assists.​

"I can confirm that our owners, the Pozzo family, rejected a huge and important offer for Beto at the end of January," the Udinese sporting director told 'RAI' a few days ago.

We will have to see what happens in the next market, but it is certain that Everton will try to reinforce their attack signing the Portuguese for next season.
