Two second-half goals brought Villarreal level against Real

Real looked to be cruising to victory thanks to goals from Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo in the first 45 minutes.

However, the home side came out all guns blazing after the break and were rewarded for their pressure on the 70th-minute mark.

Despite only being on the pitch for two minutes, Martinez cut onto his right foot in the box to send a rocket flying into the top right corner, clawing one back for Villarreal.

That deficit would completely disappear with five minutes remaining on the clock. 

Rodrigo dinked the ball over the defence to put Castillejo in on goal, who needed just two touches to round Luca Zidane before poking the ball home. 

The goal brought Villarreal level, with the scoreline finely poised at 2-2 going into the death.
