Two Premier League clubs eye free agent Sagna

West Bromwich Albion and Leicester City are interested in signing the right-back on a free transfer.

The 34-year-old French international was released by Pep Guardiola's City at the end of last season and has been considered by Brighton, West Ham, Everton and Chelsea during the summer.

The Baggies have also give a trial to 34-year-old midfielder Karl Henry.

Both the sides interested in Sagna registered fewer than 25 players in their Premier League squads at the start of September.

Therefore Sagna would be eligible to be registered for either Albion or Leicester before January if he were to sign a contract with one of them this year.

Sagna started 14 games for Man City in the Premier League last season and made three more appearances of the bench.
