FC Barcelona continue to work on both arrivals and departures. In relation to the latter, Trincao, on loan at Wolves this season, has returned and has asked the Catalan club to leave for Sporting Portugal, as reported by 'Record'.
The striker does not want to continue playing for the Catalan giants because he knows that he does not count for Xavi. On top of that, this helps the Catalan institution in its desire to reduce their wage bill and thus be able to afford signings.
The player's idea is to go on loan to Sporting to continue his development and even see if there is a possibility of staying there beyond the 2022-23 campaign. We must not forget that there is a World Cup at the end of the year.
In relation to the Lisbon side, the club believes that Trincao would be a good replacement for Sarabia, who will return to PSG despite having performed well for the Portuguese side.
